Receive money effortlessly with the new INTERAC e-Transfer® Autodeposit feature. Get your funds deposited automatically into your account – no need to log on or answer any security question.

Splitting the bill just got easier. Try INTERAC e-Transfer® Request Money feature to request money from anyone in Canada, and have the money go right into your account.
Log on to Online banking or the HSBC Canada Mobile Banking app to send an INTERAC e-Transfer.
Fraud Prevention: It’s important to arm yourself with awareness and the right information to help protect yourself and others from digital fraud.
Register for Autodeposit to safely and securely receive INTERAC e-Transfers®
Tip: If Autodeposit is not set up, use a strong password using a mix of letters, numbers and special characters. Make sure you share the answer to the security questions via a safe channel like phone or in person.
Benefits
Free
We waive the INTERAC e-Transfer fee when you transfer using your HSBC Canadian dollar chequing or savings account. It is free to receive an INTERAC e-Transfer.
For accounts with a limited number of free transactions, regular transaction fees may apply if you perform an INTERAC e-Transfer over the number of transactions allowed.

Simple
Make a transfer in just a few steps. Transfers can be made using Online banking or the HSBC Canada Mobile Banking app, and the money is accessible once the transfer is complete.

Your INTERAC e-Transfer is covered by our Security Guarantee. When you send money using INTERAC e-Transfer, your money never travels by email or text message. Email and text messages are only used to notify and provide instructions to the recipient.
